Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Picking of customer orders (FIFO) according to schedule.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Goods in, locating and perform inventory controls. Report any discrepancies.
- Ensure all production lines have components available according to schedule.
- Locating finished stock.
- To perform daily safety check on Fork Lift truck, recording checks, reporting any defects.
- To ensure the warehouse area is kept clean and clear of debris (Clean as You Go).
- Working on their own and as part of a team.
- Assist in maintaining stock location system.
Qualifications and Skills requirements
- Current Fork Truck License, reach, flexi and counter balance. Flexi can be provided if required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work within a busy production environment and unsupervised.
- Good numeracy.
- Good attention to detail / self-disciplined.
- Must be flexible.
- Experience of using a warehouse management system is beneficial
