Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse has become available at a practice in Gateshead.

If successful you will be involved in all aspects of nursing care including clinics and in-patient care before, during and after surgery.

The rota involves working 38 hours per week over 4 days. The shift patterns are:
6.45am-4.45pm
8.00am-6.30pm
8.30am-6.30pm

Weekend work is 1 in 4 Saturdays or Sundays 6.45am-6.30pm.

The salary is up to £26,000 depending on experience plus a relocation package of up to £3000 and a welcome bonus of up to £1500

Over the 4 branches the practice have 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 22 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 13 Auxiliary Nurses and 11 Receptionists. They have Veterinary Surgeons who hold RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery and a number of Veterinary Surgeons who hold a GPCert(SAM).
