Job Description
Title – Sales Assistant (part time, min 20 hours a week)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
- Processing payments
- Handling product returns and payment refund requests
- Promoting products based on the company’s directives
- Arranging products on the shelves and on promotional displays
- Unpacking and sorting new stock delivery
- Managing product inventory at the store
- Keeping the store clean
Terms of Work
- Minimum of 20 hours a week (including weekends), extra hours will be available
- Must be available to work weekends
- Competitive rates of pay
- Fixed term contract, finishes 30th September 2026.
About SCS
We are an independent Sports retail store based at the home of Somerset County Cricket
Club – The Cooper Associates County Ground. We have 2 stores on site. One is purely
Somerset CCC clothing and souvenirs, and our main store is a cricket equipment specialist and teamwear store.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 7 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £8.00-£10.42 per hour
