Russell Taylor group have an exciting new vacancy working for a rapidly expanding biotech facility. If you come from a strong molecular biology background with hands on experience of working with viruses in the lab, then Russell Taylor would love to hear from you!
The Role
Β· Assisting with studies to manufacture viral vectored vaccines.
Β· Maintaining and evaluating mammalian and bacterial cell culture lines
Β· Conducting laboratory meetings and presentations based on your research within the lab.
Β· Suggesting new approaches to immunotherapies
Β· Performing analytical assays, determining their quality, yield and stability, etc.
Β· Working under GRP regulations
Β· Attending yearly scientific coursed to continue educational progression.
The Person
Β· The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree/MSc/PhD in either virology or molecular biology.
Β· Must have previous experience of working hands on with genetically modified viruses in the lab.
Β· Must be able to design and clone mammalian cassettes. For example, DNA, PCR, ELISA, western Blot, viral growth curves, virus purification, viral titers, etc
Β· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Β· Must have excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate scientific information.

Salary: Up to Β£50,000.00 per year
