Title: Machine Operative / Machine Setter
The Best Connection Group is looking for Machine Operator to begin a permanent role for our client based in Paddock Wood, Tonbridge.
Responsibilities:

Setting up the case packer/labeler machines ready for production and running routine maintenance of machinery

Ensure quality and productivity targets are met consistently.

Able to adjust the machine as needed to improve quality and maintain line speeds.
Requirements:

We welcome applications from candidates who have recent hands on experience with machinery, an inner understanding of how machines work, and keen to learn with a can-do attitude.

We also love to see a strong understanding of production procedures and adherence to health and safety regulations.
The shift pattern will be primarily a 5 day on 2 day off week, covering a 10 hour production shifts with set up and shutdown periods at each end, but we look for a flexible attitude to this is essential to cover fluctuations in workload and sickness and holiday cover.

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
