About the role
As Housekeeper, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Working on varied cleaning tasks in a friendly team, your main aim will be to carry out all cleaning duties as required and in accordance with the work schedule for your area.
Responsibilities will include:
ο· Dusting low & high, vacuuming & washing down all areas
ο· Cleaning of any glass partitions
ο· Spot cleaning upholstery, curtains & carpets
ο· Cleaning of offices
ο· Cleaning of Toilets, Bathrooms, Shower Rooms & Basins
ο· Restocking of all soaps, handtowels & toilet paper
ο· Emptying & cleaning of waste bins
ο· Cleaning of dining rooms, tables & chairs
ο· Cleaning of Clinical areas including theatres
ο· Cleaning of consulting rooms and treatment rooms rooms
ο· Cleaning of corridors
ο· Cleaning of bedrooms
ο· Regeneration of food & cleaning of the regeneration trolley (where applicable)
ο· Cleaning of the kitchen & all equipment within the area (where applicable)
ο· Arranging for trust staff to clear cupboard floors allowing cleaning
ο· Removal & re-hanging of Curtains allowing Trust staff to Launder
ο· Where agreed litter picking & Sweeping of external areas

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Β£10.00-Β£11.00 per hour
