We are currently recruiting for a General Farm/Poultry Worker to join our team. The position will be working on a shift rotation system. Previous poultry experience is not essential, as full training will be given, although having previous poultry or farm work experience would be advantageous.
Duties Include:
- Providing high animal and bird welfare
- Egg collection and packing
- Basic maintenance
- General farm work
- Moving pallets with pallet truck or fork lift
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Maintaining safe working practices & high level of site and personal biosecurity standards
Successful candidate:
- Reliable, responsible and hardworking
- Be hands on and not afraid of hard work
- Confident around hens
- Able to work alone as well as in a team
- Willing to learn with a can-do attitude
- Has an interest in providing high level of care and welfare to the hens
Own transport is essential.
Must not have any avian contact at home.
