Our company is seeking a Financial Controller to work under an experienced Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in financial management, financial reporting, and analysis. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our organisation and providing strategic financial guidance to our Finance Director mainly concentrating on cashflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operations.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficient in financial reporting and analysis software such as Sage/Xero/Quickbooks
