Calling all Field Engineers!
WRc, part of RSK Group, is searching for a Field Engineer to join our team in Swindon on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small team, assisting in carrying out our pipeline inspection surveys. You will get the opportunity to learn how to use cutting-edge pipeline survey technologies and techniques while working across the UK.

Person Specification
Essential
-
Able to drive a 3.5-tonne long wheelbase van into City Centre locations, or off-road (full clean UK driving licence)

The desire to work outdoors in all weather

Good level of fitness to cope with a physically demanding job

Happy to work away occasionally for periods of time

The ability to cover night work/weekend work

Experienced with the use of computers (including Access, Excel and Email)

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade 4 / C and above (or equivalent)
Desirable

Exposure to the utilities industry (water / sewerage / gas) and pipeline inspection technologies

An understanding of simple electronics and/or hydraulic systems
