We are seeking a highly motivated and eager individual to join a growing security team as an Entry-Level Penetration Tester. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for information security to learn and grow in the field of penetration testing.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior penetration testers in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on various systems and applications.
Document findings and provide recommendations for remediation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, and business units, to ensure penetration testing efforts are coordinated and effective.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in penetration testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and web applications.
Basic understanding of security frameworks, such as OWASP, NIST, and SANS.
Familiarity with penetration testing tools, such as Metasploit, Nmap, and Burp Suite, is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
