Director of Operations

Are you an operational delivery leader? Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

As our Director of Operations, you will lead our Housing, Waste and Public Health teams. Your remit will include everything from our retained housing stock to waste collection, from our parks, maintenance and enforcement to public health; giving you the ability to steer the majority of interaction that the Council has with its customers.

Of course, you’ll be able to deliver the job, that’s a given, but you’ll also want to work somewhere that will encourage you to spread your wings and values your desire to drive forward to a better future for our communities.

We are committed to a significant housing investment programme to deliver more affordable, sustainable and energy efficient homes and we have just completed a major change to our waste and recycling service – all delivered through our excellent in-house service teams.
